I purchased this bed for my five year old daughter and she loves it. I thought she would sleep on top and use the bottom as a futon, but she decided she was afraid to sleep on top and has been using the bottom as a bed, which works great too. It’s a good sized double bed and she is very comfortable in it. She tells me when she turns 6 she won’t be afraid anymore to sleep on top.
